We hold true to the ORIGINAL European Great Dane Standard. Great Danes were created in Germany and the European Great Dane Standard is the Original! Great Danes were bred to be a Working Breed, originally called Boarhounds, and were used in boar hunting and cart pulling. European Great Danes have thick muscling and a heavy bone structure. They are in no way fragile as their American counterparts have become. European Great Danes are overall much healthier than American Danes and live to be 12-15 years old. This is because in Europe Great Dane breeding is their career and they are held to a very high standard in order to be permitted to breed. If their Danes have any health issues the dog is culled and never used in breeding. In America back yard breeding is rampant and Danes are becoming unhealthier and unhealthier. At what point did the Great Dane lose its Jowls in America? This I would like to know because the American Standard has now become very far from the Original Standard indeed! We breed European Great Danes for the sheer love of long saggy jowls, big saggy heads, a laid back demeanor, impeccable health, strong bone structures, and thick muscling for working on our Ranch.

~Our Breeding Program~

Our Breeding Kennel is named Vom Hause Faith, we are a Kennel-Free home enviornment nestled on a quiet 47 acre Ranch in beautiful North Carolina.

Our Danes are apart of the family, they live inside our home, and grow up with our young children.

Our Danes can be found in our house or running around behind our home in the 3 acre enclosure with a pond.

Our puppies are raised inside our home, specifically in our office.

Our puppies are properly socialized and receive hourly interaction with adults and our 2 children.

Our puppies are taught cleanliness, basic commands, and leash training.

Our Danes and puppies receive frequent veterinary check ups and are always up-to-date on vaccines,  heartworm prevention, and are dewormed monthly.

Our Danes and puppies do not have fleas, ticks, or intestinal parasites.
